Back Bearings: HKG Back Bearings are available in several configurations and sizes to support wood or metal center guides. They’re made from tough, self-lubricating polyethylene, in natural color or beige.
Tack: Pick your system; there’s a HKG drawer glide to make it work smoothly and durably. With our Tack Corner Glides you don’t need staples, grooved front rails or additional machining. Just drive the polyethylene tack glide in on the front rail and install the drawer. Insert HKG Stud Corner Glides in 3/16″ drilled holes for solid support for wood, metal or plastic drawers.
Saw Slot Installation: The easiest-opening, smoothest-sliding drawers have HKG glides, self-lubricating, polyethylene Drawer Glides in 1/8″ saw slots in the front rail supporting the drawer. Used with our Back Bearings, they provide silk-smooth operation, guiding the drawer at the sides.
Staple or Brad Installation: If you install glides with staples or brads, HKG gives you a wide choice of types and sizes, all self-lubricating polyethylene. These feature a thinner tab, so the staple or brad is below the bearing surface.
Tipper: Drawers in furniture with narrow side or tipper rails operate more easily with HKG polyethylene Tipper Glides. Install with a single staple on drawer backs or sides.
Button Glides: HKG’s drawer glide collection includes a variety of polyethylene Button Glides, installed easily in drilled or punched holes in wood, metal or plastic. HKG Plastic-Headed Tacks reduce friction and wear.

Shelf Supports
How do you support your shelves? There’s HKG hardware for every system. The GRIPPER is our patented Locking Shelf Support that installs quickly, securely. Shelves snap into the Gripper support, which locks and holds them firmly in place. Ridged stems prevent loosening, and take heavy loads. Low profiles make GRIPPER Supports ideal for frameless cabinet styles.
HKG’s tough polypropylene Standard Shelf Supports have a double brace under the platform to take heavy loads. We also offer Softwood Shelf Supports with larger bearing surfaces to prevent tipping caused by wood compression. Available in white, natural and brown.
Retaining
If you use pin supports, HKG supplies Fluted Shelf Pins which resist turning. They adjust to slightly over-or-under-sized 1/4″ holes. You can also specify Plain Shelf Pins without flutes.
To keep shelves from sliding forward, use Fluted Shelf Retaining Pins, corner back pin types.
Metal Pin-Type Supports
Use HKG Metal Pin supports for heavier loads. Solid steel, they’re available with 5 mm and 1/4″ pins, in brass, antique brass, nickel and black finishes.
Glue/Staple Blocks
Our specially designed Glue Blocks are ideal for drawer and cabinet construction. They resist shock without shattering and may be glued or stapled to wood to produce a strong assembly. The surfaces are uniformly flat, molded to a true 90° angle and textured to secure a good adhesive bond to wood.
Corner Braces
Keep corners perfectly square, cabinets strong and rigid with precision molded Corner Braces. They fit snugly, and enlarged stapling spaces make installation fast and precise with just a few staples. Offered with horizontal or vertical positioning flanges, with or without a centered screw boss. Made of high density, high impact polymer.

Over its lifetime, how many times will the door on your cabinet be opened and closed? Plenty. That’s why HKG’s new door catches are made for years of solid, unfailing performance. HKG catches are solid steel, bronze plated or custom finished. Designed for precise installation, the slotted strike plates are easy to position and adjust. Spring-activated rollers are polyethylene, so wood finishes won’t discolor or damage them. Doors open easily, close smoothly, and are held positively–for years and years.

Tapered Pad Retainers
Hold panels or glass securely in place; specify one of the HKG Glass and Panel Retainers. Our unique Tapered Pad Retainer cushions and holds glass or plastic firmly with a tapered “cat’s paw” pad. This high strength retainer is ideal for curved glass, and offered in four pad lengths.
T-Nuts
These low cost, one-piece fasteners put steel threads in wood for fast and secure component assembly. Both the Prong and Propeller types are stamped heavy gauge steel, threaded the full length of the barrel or extra secure hold. Barrel is beveled for easy insertion. Available in a rust-resisting zinc finish. With preassembled, HKG All-in-One, you install both T-Nut and glide at the same time.
Glass & Panel Retainers
Choose from a range of Standard and Disc Glass and Panel Retainers. These tough, smooth plastic retainers won’t scratch or mar glass or wood, and are installed easily. Offered in a range of sizes. Clear or walnut, surface-mounted Mirror Clips are also available from HKG.
Hang Rod Flanges

Wear-resisting, non-rusting Plastic Floor Glides from HKG are offered in flat and oval-head styles with 1/2″ or 11/16″ nails in a range of diameters and thicknesses.
One-and Three-Prong Glides
HKG heavy-duty Steel Glides with one or three prongs, are available in heavy gauge standard steel, case hardened steel, and in most sizes, stainless. You can order diameters from 3/8″ to 1-1/8″ (3-prong style), with roll-polished, nickel or zinc plating.
Strip Glides
HKG’s specialized plastic glides can solve problems, cut costs in your plant. Our Strip Glides, molded in strips of eight, speed installation on furniture legs: Just drive a staple through the center of a glide, and snap it off the strip.

The Double-Size, Double-Nail Glide
With its broad 1-13/16″ x 5/8″ base and 1/2″ nails, this new glide gives your furniture extra stability, a really solid stance. Two nails embedded in the polyethylene base keep the glide in place for good on furniture that needs larger glide surfaces.
The “Hold-In-Almost-Anything” Glide
Nail this glide into soft woods, wood composites, even the end grain of plywood, and it holds like a terrier with a bone. With zinc plated steel bolts anchored in bases of the toughest nylon, Heavy Duty Leveling Glides are made for your heaviest pieces. Hex-shaped bases are easy to adjust.
The Heavy Duty Glide
Nylon is the toughest material you can put under your furniture, and this glide has a 7/8″ diameter nylon base. This base, with its 5/16-18 x 1″ screw, supports the heaviest pieces. The 7/8″ base lets you set shelving units flush together.

Adjustable Levelers
